I wouldn't think that texting is ruining our language just expanding it. Many people assume that it is only teenagers who seem to use text-talk but adults do it too!
I was quite offended because many people are saying that some teenagers can't even spell, how is that even true?This is because schools don't spend a whole 50 minutes teaching 13-14 year olds how to spell 'deteriorate', now do they? Teenagers need to be give a voice and this is in texting 'wot is wrong with dat'?
