No, it is not in black and white. All three movies are shown in colour.
The first film in the franchise is 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl ' .
the pirates of the carribean curse of the black pearl
In court
Most likely not. It's rated PG-13.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl has a few funny moments or lines but has a more serious feel than the others. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has a little bit different approach; there is more comedy than the first but it is still not a comedy. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is similar to the 2nd film but it also has many hidden meanings and little things to connect to each other and make inferences that you couldn't do in the 1st and 2nd because they were pretty straight forward. It is especially serious leading up to the main battle near the end but of course there are still a few funny moments inside it. Captain Jack is not a very serious person in any of these films.
Jack Sparrow was mutineed against by his former first mate Hector Barbossa, and sought out to reclaim his ship in this movie.
