That's a good question. Arabian horses have some of the same enemies as horses that aren't born and raised in the desert do! They have to deal with the heat, with small, posionous snakes, scorpions, etc.

The Sahara is a big continuous desert in North Africa. I'm not sure where you got the idea that the Arabian desert is a collection of smaller deserts, but if you look at the map it looks quite continuous and very dry. I haven't noticed any gaps between its "collections".
