According to my bank representative at Bank of America, they will be open on Friday July 3rd and closed on Saturday July 4th. Since July 4 is a Saturday, US banks will be closed on Friday, July 3 to observe the holiday. US banks are required by federal law to close for 10 specific holidays each year.
