Bull Terrier.
bull terrier
The Bull Terrier was originally developed in the 19th century as a fighting dog and, later, a fashionable companion for gentlemen, but these days he's a family companion and show dog. He's distinguished by his long, egg-shaped head. Here's more info.
Yes, he owned a pet Boston bull terrier named "Pops".
His name was togo.
i BELIEVE IT WAS A BULL TERRIER
Bull terriers have a higher rate of human aggression and a much higher bite rate than pit bull terriers. They are more unpredictable around children as well. In my opinion, I would choose an American Pit Bull Terrier over a Bull Terrier. Check out atts.org and research which breeds pass the standard American Temperament Testing Society's test- you may be surprised by the pit bull's results. They have a higher pass rate than the Golden Retriever, and one of the highest overall pass rates.
Yes, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was originally bred to kill rats for pest control and organised ''ratting'' competitions. However, I have a Staffy and two pet rats and my Staffy is scared of them! There are many breeds that were bred for vermin control, including the Jack Russell Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Norfolk Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Border Terrier, Patterdale Terrier and many more. In fact, pretty much all Terriers were originally bred to kill rats.
terriers have a lot of variances between breeds. some are short some are tall, some are energetic some are lazy, but by getting a dog with mixed breeding you get all of the good traits of the dog, and eliminate most of the bad. If you want to have a dog with papers, a rat terrier is a good choice. Its a newer breed, so inbreeding hasn't had an opportunity to take hold, and the dog is bred for its stoutness, and livability. They have very few health problems, are not overly energetic, and have good personalities. Their temperament is fairly neutral, so they are a good choice for being around kids, and their size makes them ideal for apartment/city life. they are loyal, easy to train, and not excessive yappers. They need a fair amount of exercise, but are content to just relax if you are. Oh, and by the way, they are cute as hell!!
Bullmastiffs can make good family pets. They are lovable and gentle but can have some aggression problems, thanks to their guarding instincts. But these should be minimal as long as you properly train and socialize your pet.
It is a very good idea, border terrier love kids ,is a good keeper, lives for many years and she is active.Jack Russell terrier is a popular pet and realy is one of the most active pets in the world!!!
An interested, caring, and responsible family can adopt a Norwich Terrier, a popular breed of dog, from any local humane society or pet rescue center.
