yes in my opinion it is.
the 8520 is great all my friends have one as do i and bbm is such a good way to get in touch with people and you can download so many apps it is quite cool like facebook.twitter.ect.
the keys are quite small so at first when you type you might have diffrent letter or numbers but if you dont then great!. after a while this should'nt be a problem as it is quite easy to type on now so yes i would recommend
