Not really a good choice for inexperienced dog owners to own, you might want to start with a smaller dog. It's really big, so you need a good backyard for it to run around in. A apartment life is NOT for this dog. Me myself believe that any dog can be a good first dog as long as it is well trained from puppyhood. If you are looking to get one, make sure about it's past. A Leonburger with a scarred puppyhood (example: Beaten or caged for a really long time) will likely be uncomfortable with humans and not a good pet. But if you get a puppy, then make sure to train it well and make it happy. Or, you could get a older dog, and it will be more laxed and less energetic. That also gives a older dog a happy last years, which I think is the best think a person can do for a dog.
First-time owners may want to steer clear of this extremely protective and territorial breed. Meek owners should avoid them as well. This is a loving but strong breed with distinct personality traits. Catahoula Leopard Dogs are independent thinkers. So, they need strong owners who can dominate a dominant dog.
No, a bolognese is a bad breed for inexperienced dog owners. I would suggest a small and calm breed

According to the Bracco Italiano Society, this breed is not suitable for first time or inexperienced owners. They are gentle but are a working breed and may require substantial training to become good pets. They also require a large amount of exercise and stimulation.
They require alot of attention, but are good dogs. they are also protective.
