Autonomic is the automatic nervous system eg pain response (something you cannot not control) while the somatic nervous system is the thing we can control.
CNS is an acronym for Central Nervous System, thus they are the same thing.
The somatic nervous system controls the voluntary movement of skeletal muscles, such as when you move your arm. The autonomic nervous systems controls the involuntary actions of internal organs and glands. The beating of your heart is controlled by this system. The autonomic nervous system is further broken up into two parts: the sympathetic, which controls arousal (think fight-or-flight), and the parasympathetic, which controls calming (think rest and digest).
The nervous system hasn't a defined location, it is distributed in the entire body. Every tiny point of your skin has a nerve that sends a signal to your brain telling that you are feeling pain, heat.. The internal organs of your body also have nerves. The nervous system is constituted of two main parts : The central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system contains the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system consists of nerves, (nerves are long fibers that connect the central nervous system to every other part of the body), the motor neurons, the autonomic nervous system,(comprising the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system, and the enteric nervous system) which mediates voluntary movements.
It allows you to make decisions. you can't make any decisions with out your central nervous system. That's why when you get hurt the first thing they do is to check if your neck ad head are alright then they proceed to the problem. Your central nervous system is important for many things.
The sinoatrial (SA) node of the heart serves as its pacemaker, and receives nerve input from the nervous system in order to initiate the "pumping" activity that controls the circulatory system. In addition, muscles of blood vessels can expand and contract from signals from the autonomic (sympathetic and parasympathetic) nervous system in order to control blood pressure.
There is no such thing, it's is called the Nervous System.
it is the same thing as the nervous system
The brain is the control centre of the central nervous system, responsible for perception, attention, memory, emotion and action.
Sorry I can't, there is no such thing as a "cockroah".
every thing that ur body does
It's humbling and a little scary, isn't it? The heart is controlled by the autonomic nervous system-- part of the nervous system that is not under our conscious control. There are nerve bundles in the heart called 'nodes' that send out pulses on a regular basis. There is the sino-atrial node and the atrio-ventricular node. They are controlled by the brain stem. Your breathing switches fully to autonomic control while you sleep, too. Good thing. While we are awake, breathing usually takes care of itself without a thought, although we can take control any time we want.
