It just won't work with the newdsi the problem is that the dsi blocks anything that tries to bypass the main menu like an action replay, r4, m3 , tt and others (all don't work) the only way to make an r4 work on the dsi is to somehow flash the r4 and rewrite the boot function, which is what they did with the r4dsi and other dsi flash carts. P.S. i wouldn't buy a new "dsi flash cart" until i knew that it would work with dsiware, dsi-enhanced and dsi-exclusive games. happy hacking!
