The Eurostar train is underground while it goes through the Channel Tunnel, this takes about 25 minutes.

There are also some tunnels at the London end of the High Speed line which take about 5 minutes to go through, plus other shorter tunnels elsewhere.

Otherwise most of the journey is above ground.

The journey between London and Paris takes 2 hours 15 minutes.
