The FBI is an agency of the United States government. However, it is not a regulatory agency. Rather it's job is to focus on major crimes and criminals.
There are hundreds if not thousands of different government jobs. Of course the military is a government job. There are also job like census taker, DMV worker, FBI and a whole lot more.
Any government job like that and the FBI require you to have a least a B.S. Degree.
