10w40 any brand you prefer. Rotella T is very good.
Exactly the weight Ford recommends. Brand is your choice as all major brands are good.
Since Ford didn't make a 1998 Thunderbird it is very difficult to figure out what year Thunderbird you are talking about. Recheck your vehicle for proper year of manufacture and maybe some one can assist you when the actual year is known. Good luck.
Shop manual is best, check local library for schematics as they are a good source!
Have you checked the fuse panel under the dashboard for the instrumentation fuse being good or bad?
You need bushings in the bottom door hinge. You might have to remove the finder to get to it. You might trying to go to a you pull it and find a good hinge from a 89 to 97 Thunderbird or Cougar. It would be less work.

The horn fuse on a Ford Thunderbird is typically located in the fuse box, which is usually found under the dashboard on the driver's side or in the engine compartment. You can identify the specific fuse for the horn by referring to the fuse box cover diagram or the owner's manual. It's important to ensure the vehicle is turned off before checking or replacing the fuse. If the horn is not functioning, checking this fuse is a good first step.
Check for bad fusable linkUsually located in the smaller wire running to the starter solenoid
Sure if the price is right, around $1,500 and it is in good shape. Be leary of the Supercharged Coupe. Very expensive to repair the supercharger.
i have a 94 thunderbird i had plans on putting a 302 in mine but i went with a 289 its a better motor cause i did some research and ford really didnt make a good 302 so i went with a 289 it was a little costly the hardest part was getting the wiring harness for that motor but i found one but anything can be done of u have the time and money for the project so good luck
