Yes, the breed typically is very social and loves all people and other dogs. I have heard people say they are no good with young children as they are boisterous and knock them over, but I have a toddler and two gsps and we've never had an accident. They require a lot of exercise to be a good dog - walking is not enough, they need running or off leash time, at least 45 mins a day. If they get that, they are cuddly couch potatoes.
Yes, German Wirehaired pointers are extremely loyal to their owners. Anyone around them, well Their pack leader. They are very intelligent and need a lot of exercise. I used to have one called Blue. Blue was very loyal to his pack, his family. But if he didn't have any exercise he would be trotting around. He helped you take your coat of. After he had a bath he would run up and down the garden through the house like a crazy dog.

Most definitely a German shepherd! They are great family pets!
No but German people do.
well there are many types considering there are over 400 dog breeds but for starters some you may want to avoid are: Doberman pinchers, miniture pinchers, the dingo, greyhounds, eskimo dogs, Japanese akitas, chow chows, plummer terriers, American pitbull terriers (pitbulls), any type of corgi, ect. but if you don't mind i'd recommend German shorthaired pointers, collies, beagles, or basset hounds. Hope that helped! Good Luck
