Is the Nikon d90 a good buy?
Oh, heck yes.

Unless you really want to get into film, or have a bunch of unused film development chemicals or something, just go with a DSLR. The Nikon D90 or D7000 are good cameras to start with.
Guyz can someone suggest I are planning for a dslr and My choice is Nikon d90 heard canon t2i 550d which is a recent launch is good too any suggestions on which one to go for?
Nikon D90 is the best choice! in terms of price and picture quality....
Nikon stopped producing the D80 in August 2008 as it was replaced by the D90 :)
Nikon d90 0r nikon d5000 is the best cameras
The Nikon D90 is a DSLR type of digital camera. This stands for Digital single-lens reflex camera and is sometimes also referred to as a Digital SLR.
How do you print date and time in Nikon D-90
yes, sure can
Nikon d90 has the capability to shoot video. The D90 is the ONLY DSLR to do that. Also, there's a difference in resolution. I'm not sure what the difference is as far as resolution, but i know there is one. Over all, there's actually tons of differences. I own the D90, and it's great. I've used the D80 though, and it's great too. I think the D90's better, but it's all preference D90's worth the… Read More
Beginners can consider nikon D90 or 500 d set of machine, 500 d set of machine is 18 and 55 lens, no far coke, but with good, short beginners hd video function, but the frame number is not high. Iso is high, but may also not quite commonly used, what I use be a d90 nikon low-end machine, the comparison of good faith, Canon looks cost-effective some 500 d good, lens, you can take a… Read More
No it does not, it only has 5.8 optical zoom.
No. It's a single lens reflex digital camera.
Through the cameras usb socket as detailed in the user guide.
The Nikon MB D80 is a multi powered battery pack that is an accessory for the Nikon D80 and the Nikon D90 which are both digital SLR cameras. It is known to provide stability as well as longer battery power.
December 2014 you can pick a D90 for as little as £150 used on WEX photographic; however new on SLR hut with 18-55mm you will pay £460 for a new one.
Both cameras are pretty old now. I recommend the Canon 7D or 60D. or if you want Nikon, the D7000, D90, or D300s.
The Nikon D90 just recently was introduced. It is the first DSLR camera that also has a video camera feature. Overall, it is also a decent camera. -BookShark
my name is ajay and my many friends have nikon dslr like D90,D500 and more so NIKON is leading company
Upload a recent image to shuttercount or myshuttercount (google is your friend)
ifNikon d90 digital slr camera on auto mode can we use flesh sb600 on this mode or only manual mode
If you have the knowledge and time to set your own parameters the D90 offers more flexibility. If you just want to point and shoot and have less stringent image requirements the L100 will do fine.
The Nikon D90 and D700 are vastly different cameras, with the primary difference being the sensor sizes. The D90 has a smaller APS-C sized sensor (Nikon calls this DX), whereas the D700 is full frame (FX). A full frame sensor can produce less noise at higher ISO and low light situations. The FX cameras also allow use of ultra wide lenses, of which there are few options for DX. In the end, though, it's not… Read More
I use a canon 7D and have seen that the clarity of a picture is same as taken on a nikon D90. However, it depends upon how one looks at a camera and a photo taken from a photografer's point of view. To me canon is better than a nikon...
The Nikon D90 is the t1i's competitor but it's a good $500 more expensive. Depending on who you ask one is better than the other. They both have their pros and cons.
coz u passed wind on it
It depends on the quality, store, and how new it is. If you were to purchase a Nikon camera in Best Buy, most likely it will be expensive... unless they hare having some special offer and/or sale. I got my Nikon D90 for about $1200 in 2009. Now it's been reduced to 100 bucks. So literally, they're expensive, unless you've got the job or money. Plus, Nikon is an Asian brand. They're craazy (and I… Read More
Yes, F mount lenses fit the Nikon D80, D90, D7000, D3000, D3100, D5000, D5100, D40, D40x, D50, D60, D70, D70s, D100, D200, D300, D300s and every other Nikon digital SLR
The D90 shutter is rated for 100,000 actuations. So if you shot 2100 photos per month (which is alot of shooting), you might need to have the shutter serviced for about $65 in 4 years. Of course by that time you would probably want to upgrade to a newer model. This rating is about double the actuation ratings for the low end Nikon, or Canon DSLRs. A pro grade camera might be good for 200,000… Read More
The D60 is much lighter and smaller. It is better if you mostly shoot with Auto or Program Mode The D80 (and D90) is heavier and bigger but has better controls for manual adjustment and Autofocuses with older lenses
I find the Nikon Coolpix good for film.
Yes, the D7000 (and the D90) has fully automatic to fully manual settings. And has most of the features in the more expensive slrs
No, only F mount lenses fit the Nikon D80, D90, D7000, D3000, D3100, D5000, D5100, D40, D40x, D50, D60, D70, D70s, D100, D200, D300, D300s and every other Nikon digital SLR A Nikon G lens will fit a D80. The G is a lens designation and not a mount. Nikon G lenses have a F mount.
The D100 is the older camera (It is from 2001); Nikon's numbering scheme is slightly confusing: Single digit (F1, F2 D2, D3) are professional cameras Three digit (F100, D100, D200, D300) are semi-professional cameras Two digit (D40, D60, D90) are keen amateur cameras Four Digit (D3000, D5000, D7000) are keen amateur cameras too
It is an amazing camera by Nikon d90, expecially for amateur and enthusiast level photographers. The feature list is fantastic, plus the fact that it has the sensor of similar quality as the professional grade D300 model The AF-S NIKKOR 18-105mm 3.5-5.6G VR ED wide-angle zoom lens included with the D90 kit is a good lens.
i think the nikon d3100 is very good it has a reasonable price, i would recommend to also buy a telephoto lens with it. its very noisy but fast. Sammy
A Nikon camera lens can be purchased from all good photography and electronics stores. Alternatively, try webpage stores such as Ebay or Amazon for a deal.
I don't think that "inferior" is the correct term. Really they are targetted at different markets. The major advantage of the D90 is that it has an internal AF motor so can focus on any AF Nikkor lens. The D5000 requires an AF-S lens to do the same thing. Other considerations are more external control buttons and wheels on the D90 and higher shutter lifespan. The one thing that the D5000 has that the D90… Read More

I'm afraid this question is rather vague; you don't say where you are. However, Ebay will usually have a good range of Nikon equipment. In the UK, Ffordes, MXV and Mr Cad sell used equipment, Grays of Westminster only sell Nikon equipment and have a good reputation.
Someone can buy Nikon camera cases from a number of companies such as Amazon. Amazon has a large selection of Nikon camera cases offered at competitive prices.
I dont believe fumfie.com is a scam. I purchased a Nikon D90 from fumfie and they sent everything as advertised. I got the item quickly and even got a free gift. They have great prices and i was happy with my purchase.
a good nikon camers will cost about£600

You can buy it on AMAZON.com or EBAY store
If you've been using the D40 for basic photography or anything below professional photography or photojournalism, I'd go for the D90. On that note, if you've been using a Nikon, I'd keep using it, a) because the lenses you have now will still fit, and b) the controls and menu functions are similar. Anyway, the 90 has a better "highest quality" setting than the new 40's, 3000's, or 5000's. It also has a larger display… Read More
no it can't cannon has a competetion with nikon they want you to buy only their products
You should buy a lens compatible with Nikon dx. I have a nikon d5100. I bought it at Adorama i have two lenses: nikon dx 18-55, nikon dx 55-300 the two lenses are the best ones i ever had. Hope it helps :)
The Nikon Coolpix camera can be purchased directly from the Nikon website, but it is usually a better deal to purchase from Amazon, Best Buy or Target.
