The skyline r34 is the the father of the Nissan gtr (r35) and is far from faster. The new gtr can manage 0-60 in just under 3secs while it took the r34 4.9secs. Altho an r34 could be modded in such a way that it can beat a stock gtr. However, the gtr has a much higher potential as far as mods go.

The R34 GTR was produced by car manufacturer, Nissan. As far as I know all of them were produced in Kaminokawa, Tochigi, Japan. The R34 GT-R comes from the Nissan (skyline) GT-R that started in 1989 as the R32 model. The follow up was the Nissan GT-R R33 model in 1993 and finally, in 1998, the GT-R R34.
