Well as of today 10/13/2009 you can run iso downloads on it. You need 5.03 firmware and chicken hen r2, the only thing is you cannot turn the psp off as it runs only in memory now and rebooting erases it and you have to reload chicken hen again. But games and homebrew work. The 3000 tutorial works for the 3001, well if there done right I suppose. You need to load hen about 15 times mind you.
