No. If your allergs to dogs, perhaps a pomeranian isn't a good dog to get. Pomeranians shed like crazy. If you want a allergenic puppy, Get a yorkie. Yorkies don't have fur they have hair so they don't shed. They're cute small easy puppies for a family life. They're great pooches!

∙ 10y agoNo, but some people have certain Dog Breeds that do not bother their Allergies; even though the dog isn't hypoallergenic. Likely you will have a reaction to a pomeranian, but if you really want the dog, test if the fur effects you if you can because the breed may not give you any problems at all.

∙ 12y agoPomeranians are NOT hypoallergenic, they are very furry therefore, they are constantly shedding, shedding, shedding! But, they are wonderful pets and great family dog with children who are respectful and over the age of 7!

∙ 13y agoOne thing is that they do not moult very much. From personal experience, I am allergic to animals with fur, but I am perfectly fine with my extremely fluffy pomeranian!

∙ 9y agoGenerally no. Pomeranians are one of toy dog breeds which shed the most. If you own a Pomeranian you will probably need to vacuum your home regularly.
