More than capable, the Royal Navy is considered about the best in the world with one of the largest even after taking into account recent spending cuts. The cuts have consisted of personnel as well as ships. However of what is remaining is fitted with state of the art weapons and equipment. To put its size in perspective the Royal Navy currently operates on 98 vessels where as the USA, a nation 50 times larger has only 286. On top of all this the UK is one of only a few nations to be nuclear armed, including her Navy... Only a fool would strike the Royal Navy. The Royal Navy is more than capable!
