No.
In 1994, the President of Rwanda was Juvénal Habyarimana. He had been in power since 1973, ruling as a dictator until his assassination on April 6, 1994, which triggered the Rwandan Genocide. Habyarimana's death marked a significant turning point in the country’s history, leading to widespread violence and atrocities.
Freedom
The genocide was ignited by the death of Rwandan president Juvenal Habyarimana, a Hutu, when his plane was shot down above the Kigali airport on April 6, 1994. The militiamen first killed the Tutsi business and political elite before turning to ordinary Tutsi citizens.

Being the first Genocide in modern history and in the 20th century the Armenian Genocide represents a turning point in history. It was the first time since 146 BC, that the world witnessed a mass massacre planned to abolish a complete race. It didn't catch enough attention at that time and was pretty much forgotten until mass massacres such as the Holocaust and the massacres in Rwanda. So it is very important to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide in order to prevent barbarism against mankind.
Probably the Civil War or Revolutionary War.
Afghanistan and Iraq are our first 21st Century conflicts.
