The Haghia Sophia is the 3.Church built on the 1st Hill of Contantinopolis (today Istanbul/Turkey) It is the oldest of the largest Churches in the world and a corner stone in architecture. Build in 532 after the Nika riot by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian. (It is said that Justinian brake the ground and put the first stone of the foundation one month after the riot. However there are different versions about this information) The church was dedicated on 26th December 537.
