Harry Potter is an "Island" located within Islands of Adventure which is one of the two separate parks located in the Universal Orlando property; the other park is Universal Studios. There is not a separate charge once you gain access to Islands.
Well, the Islands of Adventure have many more thrill rides, but the Universal Studios have The Mummy and the Rip Ride Rock it. In total the IOA have a few more rides, but I would recommend the one day two park ticket.

well.... i walked it today and it was a pretty long walk all around. if you are talking about Florida, then you have to include island of adventures, which probably adds another..... 20 square miles. so its really big and large too!
The cost of Universal Studio's Island Of Adventure theme park is $128 for a one day adult admission and $122 for a one day child admission. The more days one's buy the better will be.
