Giant Freshwater Stingray
Because people hunt them and destroy their habitat
food
It basically looks like a normal clawed lobster, like the American lobster, except its head (cephalothorax) and claws are a bit more stout and its tail is slightly smaller relative to the rest of the body. Its coloring varies, dark brown-blue to black-blue is typical. Its claws are very strong and quick, easily capable of breaking an arm or cutting off a finger if you are not careful handling them (not that you would, since they are threatened). giant pandas are endangered because us the humans are using their habitat/food and we have the bamboo as a plant /decoration.
That would be the Tasmanian Giant Crayfish, Astacopsis gouldi, which gets to be about 15 pounds, making it also the world's largest freshwater invertebrate. Found only in northern Tasmania, it is now highly threatened by habitat loss.
Stingrays are not endangered.
