The Great Compromise was proposed by the Connecticut representative to the Constitutional Convention of 1787. The Great Compromise decided that representation in the House would be based on population, whereas each state would have an equal number of senators.
A compromise
The Great Compromise.
The US Constitution did not solve the problem of slavery, it merely put off the solution. As a compromise, it was agreed that 2/5ths of the total number of male slaves in a state would be added to the total number of free men in that state to determine the "population" of the state for purposes of assigning representation in the US House of Representatives.
As a solution to this dispute, delegates agreed to what was called the Three-Fifths Compromise.
The solution to the problem of representation at the convention was the creation of the Great Compromise, also known as the Connecticut Compromise. This compromise established a bicameral legislature with a House of Representatives based on population size and a Senate with equal representation for each state.

The Three-Fifths Compromise determined how population would be counted for....? Representation in Congress and also direct taxes on the population of the states.
The three-fifths compromise made three-fifths of the slaves count in the Census when it was taken in order to see how many represenatives the Southern states would get since representation in Congress in the House of Representatives is based on population alone. This also made three-fifths of the slaves count for taxation purposes, also, to be fair to the Northern colonies that did not have slaves but still wanted equal representation in Congress.
The three-fifths compromise came about because Southern states wanted to include the enslaved in their population count to gain delegates in the House of Representatives and the Northern states objected to this because slaves were legally considered property so the committee came up with this solution called the Three-Fifths Compromise which was to count each slave as three-fifths of a free person for taxation and representation.
I think the compromise of 1850 was a good solution because slavery is just wrong.
Compromise is when each party gives up something to reach a mutually acceptable solution.
the compromise was not a good solution to the conflict because it was very controversial. The Fugitive Slave law required northern states, even those that had ruled slavery illegal, to abide by southern laws that declared slavery legal. it caused more conflicts in the ends and put off the civil war for about 10 years
The missouri compromise
The Missouri Compromise was a success in a sense, not merely because of its contents, but rather because it caused people to voice their angered opinions on slavery. This unavoidably caused the government to realize the importance of finding a genuine solution to the reality of slavery if the future of America was to survive and to truly be united, so my answer is no.
A compromise solution is when two or more people come to an agreement but it is not what they really want. They agree even though they do not want that particular solution because of circumstances or to please someone.
There are so many ways of looking at this issue that no solution is possible. Just compromise.
