Depends on application. I'm assuming you're referring to the Caterpillar 3176, which is a 7.2 liter inline six engine. It's a reliable enough engine, but won't be approved for use in California without being retrofitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction. Economy... Caterpillar has a reputation more for power than economy. The Cummins ISB, Mercedes-Benz MBE900, or Navistar DT466 might be better options in that regard.
A lot of it depends on your application, as well. It's applicable for medium duty applications, and some limited heavy duty applications, such as local P&D work.
they barely averted the truck which was on their side of the highway!
NOT. Good try though. LOL
I don't have a Ram, I drive a Dakota, but it has the same engine. On the highway, I can expect 19 MPG max on a good day. In a Ram 1500, depending on the trim level and cab style, you can expect a maximum of 19 mpg highway and probably 14 or lower city. If your truck is lifted, maybe 17 highway and 10 city.
is this truck is a good truck i like to know if this truck is a good truck what is wrong with this truck
The chevy truck is not the best gallon per mile truck when compared to the Ford F150. The Chevy has a city cruise range of 364.00 miles and a highway cruise range of 494.00 miles, where the Ford has a city range of 390.00 miles and a highway range of 546.00 miles.
About 12 city/15 highway with a good running engine.
The engine is for racing. I dont know if its ment to be driven otherwise.
A 1947 Willys-Overland (Jeep) pickup truck in fair condition minus the engine, probably around $2000.
There are alot of parts that would be worthwile to sell from a salvage truck there is the engine if it is in good working order. You could also sell the truck for extra pieces to a salvage yard like the bed of the truck, doors etc.
A radiator is a device found in the engine of vehicles that cools the engine by circulating air. A good sentence would be, the radiator in my truck is making a hissing noise.
I have a 1974 Chevy truck with the 350 V8 and the engine is in good shape. At idle the oil pressure is 35-40 PSI, at driving speed it goes up to about 50 PSI. Hope this helps.
A good sentence for the word diesel is: Do you want diesel or alkline in your car?
