Kagesaki and Tohru Kai only release 3 Karin aka Chibi Vampire manga a year, but Tokyopop had to cut back on what it released and no more Chibi Vampire books are released by Tokyopop in english.

Well right now there is 6, Vampire Kisses, Kissing Coffins, Vampireville, Dance with a Vampire, The Coffin Club, and Royal Blood. Love Bites, the seventh one is coming out this summer (2010). The author says she thinks she's only going to do 8, but she's not sure.

There are no current plans for additional books in the Vampire Beach series after Hunted. However, author Alex Duval has written other series and standalone novels in the young adult paranormal genre.

If you have read the books, Season 1 of the Vampire Diaries surrounds the ending of the first book (the combined version, not the separate books as they were when they first came out in the 1990s). So no, it's probably going to keep on surrounding the books (there are now 4 books).
