No, the Yen is used in Japan. New Zealands main currency is the NZ Dollar. The NZ Dollar=0.7532 U.S. Dollars. The New Zealand Currency has a 10, 20, and 50 cent coin. It has a 5,10,20,50, and 100 Dollar Notes. Before 2006 they had a 5 cent coin but in 2006 the decided to get rid of it. In result of this all the coins were changed in physical size (they all became smaller.)

As far as I am aware of Japan is the only country that uses the Yen, often some are confused as to whether China uses the Yen, but no they have the Yuan, so don't be confused by that either. Also I don't think I mentioned that the New Zealand Dollar is the only currency used, so the Yen isn't used at all!
