It depends. Most bats only eat fruits (fruit bat) excpet some bats are k nown to have more carnivourous features. The vampire bat is known to drink blood of dead or alive animals as a way to drink. Yet these bats are only one species of the whole bat population.

∙ 9y agoNo, bats are not vicious. They do not attack humans unprovoked (except the common vampire bat, which very occasionally sucks human blood, but it doesn't kill people). On the contrary, they help to control populations of insects that make life difficult or miserable for humans (for example, Mosquitos).
