To dress a shrimp you don't actually dress it. You clean it all out by cutting it in the middle, taking a toothpick, and getting the gunk out of it. To dress the shrimp you remove the tail and take another toothpick , poke a hole in the rear end of the shrimp where the tail was and fill it with meat marinade. Then, you put the tail back on by putting a mixture of flour, eggs, salt, and basil to the hole. Then, just stick the tail back on.
