It is Endangered. Though they are the most common type of whale that inhabits almost every ocean in the world, they are endangered because of hunting. Humans have been hunting Sperm Whales for nearly two centuries and have wiped out huge populations of this giant animal. They are hunted for their blubber and sperm oil.
The blue whale is a very large and profitable whale for whaleing because of that the whalers had killed almost all of them so they almost were wiped of the face of the earth and they seem to slowly breed but still whaleing is contiued with restrictions from enviorment groups but they can only be killed for reserch and the japinsese whale them for money but say for reserch the law says "that no part of the whale can be wasted" they sale all parts of the whale.
