Bread cereal and pasta are all carbohydrates. In the body, they break down to sugars. If the person has enough intake, excess sugars from simple carbohydrates are transferred into glucagon which creates fat cells in the body. This is why people need to watch white flour carbs (white flour like white bread, donuts, cake, etc) because these simple carbs often get stored as fat.
That's upto you, bread contains carbs and it depends on how much energy you burn. If you eat too much bread without burning it off, it turns into extra weight in your gut. The more bread you eat, the more excercise you should do, if you want to stay healthy
