Never plug anything into your camera with it turned on. Always have the camera TURNED OFF.
According to Page 24 of the Sony Bloggie MHS TS20 Handbook, you turn the camera ON before you plug it into the computer. But they just designed and manufactured the camcorder, so what would they know?
