No, from playing on both version I know they are very different. on 360 version you have automated crafting meaning you don't have to remember the recipie however on PC version you have to remember the recipies and place them correctly in the slots in the crafting table to make the item.
No. The PC and Xbox Minecraft are in 2 different versions. Minecraft on the PC has blocks and mobs that just don't exist in the Xbox version. Xbox may eventually catch up to PC although it is unlikely that it will happen any time soon.

No, they aren't. Minecraft for Xbox is based off of 1.6.6 of the PC version. The PC version is at 1.2.5. Biome changes have changed the seeds. You could, however, search for minecraft seeds for 1.6.6 and it would be the same.
