I don't think so. Even though I own a Motorola Droid, I have heard destructive criticism about the Eris Droid, so I'm thinking that probably not. But I guess it depends on what your specific needs and/or likes are.
The Droid Incredible is better than the Droid because it is faster, its lighter without the slide out qwerty keyboard. (The keyboard on the Droid sucks anyway.), and HTC sense in better than stock android.
From my own experience, the main difference between the Motorola Droid 3 and Motorola Droid 2 is merely physical - - the Motorola Droid 3 is thinner than the previous versions.
Both phones are really nice 3G Verizon Droid phones. The Droid X2 is newer than the Droid Incredible 2, and in my opinion a little nicer. However, it might depend on if you like Motorola or HTC better. HTC makes the Incredible 2 and Motorola the Droid X2.
The Motorola Droid Bionic (by Verizon), is the best and fasted smartphone according to most experts, that Verizon has on the market. The best feature is it can be converted to laptop to desktop pc. I believe it has more popularity than the iphone 4.

thunderbolt is better because is works better than droid
Personally the i776 Motorola is better than the i465 Motorola clutch.
No
The Motorola Droid 2 Global is a smartphone which operates on the Android operating system. It has great roaming options and a better processor than the Droid 2. It offers dual mode which is beneficial if you are going to different parts of the world. It is not as safe as a blackberry but it is a better alternative to some out there. However, the battery life is not great and would recommend carrying around a charger if you are going to be gone for a significant time.
So the "droid" phones are running an operating system called android. Both the Motorola Droid and the HTC Droid Incredible (I assume you are talking about these two) run android. The difference (aside from physical features) is that HTC has added another interface on top of the regular android called "HTC Sense". It is still running android it just has extra features, widgets, and different styled menus than the original android system. The Moto Droid runs just android for the most part. There are some tweaks that Motorola did but thing too crazy. The Droid 2, X, and Pro all have a "NinjaBlur" interface.
Yes. No.
