In early centuries they really believed that. Gallileo and the seafaring explorers proved it was true the world was not flat and you would not fall off it. Today we enjoy seeing the beauty of our round planet Earth from space cameras and from photos taken by the astronauts and the satellites. They are spectacular photos.
