If we all changed our pictures to those of cartoons characters and kept out dates of birth private, there would be no indiscernible way to tell our ages. This rumor was most likely started by some bored person who wanted to see how many people they could get to believe pedophiles are on facebook looking for pictures of cartoon characters. There was no TV. or news report proving this rumor to be true. It is a hoax. Keep your cartoon profile picture to show you are against child abuse, I am.
