There are dangers for visitors to the Grand Canyon, just like there are dangers in every place in the world. By realizing that this is a place of natural beauty, and not an amusement park, visitors can reduce the level of risk to no greater than one would find in one's home town. By far the biggest problem visitors face is not realizing there AREN'T guard rails at dangerous spots.
