We need some greenhouse effect (good) but not too much (bad).

The natural greenhouse effect keeps the earth warm. Otherwise, we would freeze, the warmth of the day would disappear in the night. The carbon and water cycles keep enough carbon dioxide and water vapor in the atmosphere to support this.

The accelerated greenhouse effect (which is happening now from man's deforestation and burning of fossil fuel) is the bad effect, causing global warming.

I agree! Through the greenhouse effect, the Earth is able to maintain its temperature and sustain life. If this didnt occur, we would be stuck in an ice age permanently! Therefore, this is a good thing. However, the enhanced greenhouse effect, or global warming, is when the greenhouse effect happens to a large extent, causing the earth to heat up rapidly, and to remain hot. This excess heat will then cause all kinds of crazy things to happen on earth including more natural disasters, weird climate changes, etc. This is why it is so important to make sure that we do not contribute to this phenomenon through improper practises that we ALL know is wrong.

What is another name for enhanced greenhouse effect?

The greenhouse effect is the natural process by which greenhouse gases keep the earth's temperature at a comfortable level suitable for human existence. The enhanced greenhouse effect is the increase in greenhouse gases that is leading to global warming. The term "enhanced greenhouse effect" is also referred to as the "anthropogenic greenhouse effect" and is the idea that humans may have an effect on global climate. It is also referred to as the "runaway greenhouse effect".
