dont fear, if you think the iphone looks expensive I can tell you two things; a) everything - every gadget under the sun gets cheaper, infact the iphone has already had several price drops b) apple hasn't really overpriced - 400 USD isn't bad at all for the iphone(and I am on a tight budget 'student') so yeah - i wouldn't think twice about forking out 400 or so for an iphone.
