no it is not stable bcoz if an atom needs to be stable it needs to have 8 electrons in the valency (outermost) shell, where as a krypton has only 2 in its valency electron.

Nothing. Krypton is already just about as stable as it's possible for an element to get.

All the isotopes of nobelium are radioactive and unstable.

How do you prevent a unstable salt from oxidising?

You must make it stable if it is unstable it will oxidise by definition. You would have to add another element to make the compound stable but you would then be changing it to a stable salt.

Which is the next stable element after uranium?

none, uranium itself is unstable, there are no stable elements after bismuth; and even some researchers suggest that bismuth is an unstable radioactive element with a halflife approaching twice the age of the universe.

Krypton.

What is the difference between a stable and unstable electronic configuration?

Stable electronic configuration is when the valence shell of an element is completely filled (8 electrons) whereas unstable electronic configuration is when the valence shell of an element is not completely filled

Is kyrpton a compound?

Krypton is an element not a compound. It is a noble gas (group 0) and has atomic number 36. It is a very stable and unreactive element.
