Poverty is a multi-level problem that is both a cause and result of discrimination. Poverty often causes the upper class to discriminate against those in poverty because of the higher class' ignorance or prejudice. Conversely, the result of the discrimination often leaves individuals in poverty because they may be passed over for jobs, are unable to obtain quality healthcare or they are not given the same educational opportunities.

Discrimination can be a result of ignorance, as lack of understanding or exposure to different cultures, races, or beliefs can lead to prejudice and bias. However, discrimination can also stem from deeply ingrained societal norms, fear of the unknown, or power dynamics. Addressing ignorance through education, exposure, and open dialogue can help combat discrimination.
Unintentional discrimination occurs when individuals or organizations unknowingly engage in practices that negatively affect certain groups based on their characteristics, such as race, gender, or age. This can result from unconscious biases, stereotypes, or systemic barriers within policies and procedures. Addressing unintentional discrimination often requires raising awareness, educating individuals, and promoting inclusivity and equity.
Racial and gender discrimination can lead to limited access to education, employment opportunities, and resources for certain groups, which can result in lower income and socioeconomic status. Discrimination can also contribute to systemic inequalities that perpetuate poverty among marginalized communities. Additionally, discriminatory practices in housing, healthcare, and criminal justice can further exacerbate poverty for individuals facing racial and gender biases.

Prejudice and discrimination
A private business can technically discriminate against the physical appearance of customers. However, it is likely that such discrimination will result in a law suit.
The prosecutions in the US for gender discrimination is a system entailing reviewing all legislation which could result in the discrimination, prosecution and punishment of people solely for their sexual orientation or gender.

A positive discrimination towards a group in society will result in a negative discrimination towards an other group in society. For example; positive discrimination towards women will result on a negative discrimination on men. Implying such a system will go against equality of citizenship. Putting women on boards of power because of the nature of their gender and to compensate for past exploitation, will be unfair towards men who worked as hard, or maybe harder, to achieve the same position.
I have corrected the spelling of "discrimation" to what I believe is the word you wanted. Discrimination is the unjust treatment of people based on race, gender, sex, or other qualifications. Blacks have traditionally been subjected to discrimination. Discrimination is wrong and should not be practiced.
