No one knows for sure, but i say it's possible for both. Like say, there can be more than one Loch Ness. And they can... reproduce which makes more Loch Ness... but it can also be no because if there's only one, how can it carry on its group. And if it did exist starting from the dinosaur era, then that would be a long time of living.
Other than that, it's still a mystery.
