at the least you have the koi fish by name of hanako which lived a reported 226 years in Japan.
the longest fish i would have to say is a koi fish. a Japanese fish that are related to the common carp but are very pretty and extremely social. my uncle raises them and has had one for about twenty years now and he is still strutting along. It is also necessary to add that Koi are pond fish since they will grow to more than 24inches long. For a pet fish in a largeish aquarium, (no smaller than a 36 inch tank for 1 fish) provided you look after it correctly, an Oscar (Astronotus ocellatus) lives for many years, becomes very friendly, recognises people and things outside the tank and shows heaps of personality
The green tree snake can live up to 20 years or more. The longest living Green tree snake recorded lived up to 28 years and 3 months old.:P

Currently the world's longest living animal is a giant Galapagos Tortoise at the 'Australia Zoo', in Queensland, Australia. This animal, Harriet, has a documented life of at least 176 years old, and was apparently one of 3 brought there by Charles Darwin in 1836.
Did you mean longest? I believe the record holder is a bristle-cone pine someplace in California. 4,000 years plus. Certain Creosote Bushes in the Mohaji Desert are claimed to be 10,000 years or more. These cases however do not include the original plant but only clones of the original plant. Bacteria in the desert is said to 'endure' in its encapselled form for thousands of years, but I'm not sure how they have determined that. Bacteria from inside a mummy or some such thing maybe. If plants are not to be considered creatures then Human beings are the longest living animal at 120 years and more.
Fish, seaweed,turtles,and much more.
Usually a goldfish will live to be 1 month to a year but sometimes some goldfish live to be 3 years old others are even more lucky that they can live to be over 20a gold fish can live for 3 weeks........................................................................................................................... O.o they live a lot longer than 3 weeks. If that is how long yours are living then you are definitely doing something wrong. The longest living goldfish was 43 YEARS old. Putting them in a bowl shortens there life considerably but you still get a few years out of it.
more numbers means that there is a greater chance of the fish population to sstay living
Most fish only live 3 years, so that's about an equivalent of 24 human years to one fish year. MOST fish only live 3 years. Goldfish can live 20 years or more. It depends on the fish you have. Some are one year, while others are 30 years.
The longest pole sit is held by St Simeon Stylites the Elder, who sat for 39 years. This record has remained unbroken for more than 1500 years.
the dragon fish usually live for 5 years or more
The plural of fish is fish, except if you are referring to different kinds of fishes. For example, "all the fish in the sea" means every fish living in the sea. "All of the fishes in the sea" means every species of fish living in the sea.
