No. The majority of the electronics are sealed behind gaskets and are protected against all but a complete dunking... The batteries and the motors however are not sealed. This truck is a big step forward in improving the survivablity of the most important (and expensive) components but ultimately it is a truck and not a boat. Always after exposing any R/C vehicle to water the truck should be checked and cleaned thoroughly. WD-40 works well for this and is safe on electrical components. I am enjoying my new E-MAXX very much. =)
