YES! I run for an elite sprint team (Cheetahs International) and this shoe puts you in a great running position. The sprint plate goes all the way to the back which means your heel is not down. Great for the 60m as well as the 100m. But again, it matters on what type of sprinter you are. This is more for the power based sprinter, especially with so many spikes in the plate
