Not really. It does allow you to see as if you had good vision, but your it doesn't correct your eyes, it adjusts the light so it hits your eyes correctly.

True correction for vision is surgery and that's not 100%

-I have been told that without your glasses your eyes get worse . So wear your glasses/contacts and it can make your eyesight better . I'm sorry if this is wrong , that's what I have been told .

Can you be a pilot if you wear glasses?

In the United States you have to have perfect vision, 20/20, to become a pilot. They do not allow anyone to wear glasses, or contacts. (Presumably if you have laser eye surgery the purpose is to make your eyes work properly, so this shouldn't really be a factor.) You have to have perfect vision or else it is a liability when you are flying.

Do glasses work the same as contact?

Glasses and contact lenses serve the same primary purpose: correcting vision. However, they work differently; glasses sit on the nose and rely on distance to correct vision, while contact lenses rest directly on the eye's surface, providing a wider field of view and less distortion. Contacts can also be more convenient for certain activities, but they require proper hygiene and care. Ultimately, the choice between them depends on personal preference and specific vision needs.
