The radius is the large bone in the arm.
Radius And Ulna
There are three types of bones within the arm. The large bone is the humerus and is in the upper part of the arm. The radius is part of the forearm and are smaller bones. The ulna is another part of a bone in the forearm.
Which part? The Top part of your arm is the brachial. Then your elbow is the Cubital. the lower arm (the part with the raidus and ulna) is the Antebrachial. Your wrist is the Carpal, your palmar comes next (its your palm), and then your Phalanges (fingers).
The radius is located in your lower arm in line with your thumb.
The Humerus (upper arm), Radius (lower arm) and Ulna (Lower arm and elbow)
Your radius and/or ulna bones; also referred to as your forearm, or antebrachium.
there are two, the radius and the ulna in the forearm.
Ulna and the radius
radius and ulna
they are the bones that make up your lower arm. The radius helps the arm to rotate while the ulna supports the arm.
The bones of the lower arm are the radius and ulna. The radius is on the "thumb" side, and the ulna is on the "pinkie" side.
The scientific name for the inner lower arm bone is the ulna. It runs parallel to the radius, the other bone in the lower arm. It plays a key role in the structure and function of the forearm.
