Depends on weather the receiver is made of aluminum or steel.
Steel. The density of steel is almost 3 times that of aluminum.

The reason they don't make aluminum hammers is because most nails are made of steel and steel nails will destroy the aluminum because steel is a lot harder than aluminum.
Steel is a ferrous metal, aluminum is a non-ferrous metal
galvanised steel is a lot more safer....... if u go by the book.... it is upto 10 times stronger than stainless steel in aluminum
