Not familiar with your car, does your car have a fancy compass on the rearview mirror? Or perhaps an antenna build into it? Or maybe just lights underneath the mirror. If you run the antenna under test in the transmit mode, then while you rotate it, you'll monitor signals received by a different antenna on the test range.
