No, not normally. It is not attached to the other ribs, and is essentially free-floating. I cannot think of anything pathological that could cause that.

it is actually quite simple. pop out the switch, unplug the wires that plug into the bottom side of the switch and then plug the wires into the new one and pop the switch right back in.

The default setting for pop-ups is to have them on. If you want thm off and you are using Internet Explorer, you can block pop-ups by clicking on "Tools" on the bottom right hand side of the toolbar. A drop down menu will appear. Choose the second option; "Pop-Up Blocker" and there you can turn them off.

Are you serious? There is a latch on the bottom left side kick panel. Pull it forward. The hood will pop open and there will be a lever that you pull up with your right hand.
