How do you inflate shroeder valve?

A schrader valve is the same type of valve as cars use. You need a pump with a pump head that can handle car tire valves and then you're all set.

Where do you charge the rear air on the 2001 navigator?

There isn't a separate schrader valve to charge it - it's all charged through the low side schrader valve under the hood.

Where is the Schrader valve on 2002 dodge stratus?

what motor do you have. Ther are a couple of schrader valves on all makes. some are on the ac and others are on the fuel lines The ac has 2 and they are on the lines for fill and drain the fule has i think just one and it would be on the fuel rail near the intake manifold. They look like bicycle valve stem

What makes a Compressor on and off all the time?

Hi the compressor has a device usually a pressure switch that on off loads the head inlet compression valve system. With a screw compressor it is usually a diaphragm operating a piston that open and closes the inlet to the element

Why is a solar powered air compressor a thermodynamic impossibility?

It's not impossible at all. It would be the same as saying an electric powered compressor is impossible. How a compressor is powered is irrelevant.

Is there a safe DIY for complete removal of a split-system central air?

Close the liquid line servica valve ( the smaller sized line). Push in the compressor contactor and hold for a few minutes, then release. Touch the suction line schrader valve with a small screwdriver. If there is still pressure in the system operate compressor for a few more minutes and recheck. When no more pressure exists or a vacuum is noted, all refrigerant has been pumped into the outdoor unit and is safe to cut lines and remove components inside the home. Remember to close the suction side service valve also as if the compressor has leaky valves, the refrigerant will leak out of it. lc

When is it essential to take measures to help release refrigerant from the compressor oil during refrigerant recovery?

It is essential to take measures to help release refrigerant from the compressor oil during refrigerant recovery when the refrigerant release valve is stuck closed. The release valve should be maintained at all times.

What are the parts of refrigeration compressor?

The parts of a hermetic (sealed) reciprocating compressor is as follows; motor, crankshaft, bearings, valves, and pressure relief valve and piston(s). there are other smaller parts that can be named but these are the main players. The hermetic scroll compressor is a little different than the reciprocating compressor because it uses an orbiting scroll and a stationary scroll to compress the refrigerant instead of pistons. This is why a scroll compressor cannot run "backwards". The scroll compressor also has an oil pick up tube which differs from a reciprocating compressor. Now a "semi-hermetic" compressor is build like a small engine. It has an oil pump, reed valve plate, unloaders, pistons, bearings, etc. A screw compressor is in a class all to itself.

What is the correct procedure to pumpdown unit'?

Backseat the liquid line service valve all the way, then turn the compressor on and check the pressure on gauges until the low side gets to vacuum mode. Once the low and high side are at or below 0 PSI, backseat the suction line service valve and turn compressor off.

Does the ac charge unit fit all types of vehicle low side service port?

They are universal across all types of vehicle for the refrigerant type.. e.g., older vehicles which used R-12 (CFC-12) refrigerant all had the same R-12 schrader valves, and all vehicles with an R-134a (HFC-134) system have the same R-134a schrader valves. This is as they come from the factory... vehicles owners may often change this. For example, an R-12 system converted to R-134a might still retain the R-12 schrader valves.

What happens to the water in the bottom drain pipe after winterizing an in-ground pool?

During prper winterization, the water in the bottom drain is usually "blown" out with compressed air. How this happens, is that a pipe with a schrader valve (the same type of valve on a ture intertube) is inserted into a pipe that is threaded into the pipe below the skimmer (with the leaf basket removed) An air compressor is then used to fill the tube with air. The air forces the water out of the entire pipe. Bubbles will come up from the drain when all of the water has been blown out of the pipe. The pressure of the air being in the pipe keeps the water from flowing back into the pipe. Hope this answers your question.

How do you add freon in a 2005 pathfinder?

Refrigerant... Freon is a trademark of DuPont, and it's only Freon if made and marketed by them under that name. That being said, find your AC compressor. I'm assuming you're doing the DIY thing, and not doing it the complete way (which involves a RRR machine, vacuum test, etc.). There'll be two hoses going to the compressor - one is larger than the other. Follow the large one back until you find a schrader valve - it'll usually be capped with a black plastic cap. Take the cap off. Crank your vehicle, and set the AC to the Max AC setting. Connect your can to the schrader valve (if you made a mistake and put it on the high pressure side, it won't fit properly). Discharge the can. Repeat as needed, ensuring the level doesn't go past the red line on the can.... these "gauges" on the cans aren't particularly accurate, but it's all you have to go off of.
